Springless, direct-drive, and fast (opening speed of 45 inches per second), the Steel Ranger™ 9000 L Elite is built for high-cycles, so maintenance requirements and costs are minimal, supporting a low cost of ownership.
Springless Design for Maintenance-Free Operation
Because it’s springless, the Steel Ranger™ fits into even the most confined locations, with compact guide tracks that require only 4” of side room. In addition, the LH low headroom design requires only 19 inches of clearance above the door opening, while patented noise reduction panel pads promote quiet operation.

Polyurethane Insulated Steel Slats
Strong and durable, insulated steel panel slats are constructed of a polyurethane core, covered with a steel skin that is covered with a zinc coating, a base coating, and a top / finish coating. For custom requirements, options include any classic RAL color as well as a choice of vision slats in clear or ventilated.

Compact Springless Design for Quick Installation
Our springless design allows for compact aluminum guide tracks that require only 4" of sideroom. Tracks are installed quickly and easily directly to the wall structure.
Light Curtain Protects and Minimizes Downtime
Personnel and materials are protected by virtue of the standard light curtain. Positioned on the low-profile guide tracks, light beams shine across the opening, and if a beam is interrupted, the door automatically reverses. In addition to protecting pedestrians and materials from contact with the door, this system reduces the likelihood of damage to the door, which saves on maintenance costs and downtime. Ask about additional safety accessories available to enhance protection of pedestrians and vehicles: LED Lite Advance, advanced technology motion detectors, and more.

Remote Keypad
Performs control box functions from ground level. More and more installations require that the door control box is installed out of the reach of passersby or completely away from the door in a central location. For these types of applications, our remote keypad is the ideal accessory; it allows for the actual door control box to be remotely installed while still having the ability to operate all control functions through a compact, 3.8” x 6-½” keypad. For Speed-Guardian™ and Steel Ranger™ models, surface mount is available.
