Handcrafted by skilled artisans from select woods such as cedar, tight knot cedar, redwoods, knotty alder, VG fir, meranti, and other fine woods, the Heritage Classic™ is one of finest carriage house style garage doors Hörmann offers. The distinctive carriage house look makes it easy to match doors on a detached garage or barn with doors on your home.

Although they resemble old-fashioned swing doors, Heritage Classic™ garage doors are constructed with completely modern materials. Unique features include heavy-duty wood frame, 3-section design, custom arches water break at the base of the door, and commercial grade industrial hardware.

The E Series has an overall thickness of 2-1/4”. Sectional / Overhead opening using automatic opening hardware that functions like a conventional roll-up garage door, is standard. For a traditional barn door look, Bi-Parting and One-Piece opening are options. With the Bi-Parting opening, one or both doors swing or slide open manually (operational hardware is by others). The One-Piece opening option is usually used as a manually operated sliding door (operational hardware is by others) but may be specified as a solid, one-piece automatic vertical lift door.
