Hörmann Announces Next Generation of Steel Ranger™ 9000 L – The Steel Ranger™ 9000 L Elite
In September 2025, Hörmann North America announced the next generation of Steel Ranger™ high-performance rolling steel doors – the Steel Ranger™ 9000 L Elite.
Designed to accommodate standard and low headroom applications, the Steel Ranger™ 9000 L Elite replaces the original Steel Ranger™ 9000 L and the Steel Ranger™ 9000 LH low headroom models. In addition, the maximum available width on the Elite is three feet wider than the old models; it‘s available for door openings up to 24‘6". As with all Hörmann’s high-performance rigid models, this next generation Steel Ranger™ is available in any custom RAL color.
