Select Hörmann Sectional Products Meet ASHRAE Standards and IECC Codes
Hörmann announced in July 2025 that two Hörmann commercial sectional doors and one residential model meet ASHRAE standards and IECC codes. The 450U and 440U commercial doors and the Clima Tech 4400 residential garage door are constructed using Hörmann’s environmentally friendly, proprietary blend polyurethane that is evenly injected between galvanized steel sheets via a continuous computer-controlled process. The result is a highly-insulated panel with a U-factor of .209 (440U and Clima Tech 4400) and U-factor of .154 on the 450U, which qualifies these models to meet ASHRAE standards and IECC codes.
