Hörmann‘s Speed-Guardian™ 5000 Awarded Firehouse Magazine Seal of Approval
In January 2025, Hörmann partnered with Firehouse Magazine for a Lab Review of Hörmann’s Speed-Guardian™ 5000 doors installed at Station 52 of Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue in Silverdale, WA. Firehouse Product Reviews report an objective and detailed analysis of products in action within fire service. Their fire service staff spent a day at Station 52 where they examined every detail related to the Speed-Guardian™ doors and the role they play in supporting overall response by the station. The process also included discussions with station personnel who use the doors everyday.
After the analysis, Firehouse Magazine reported on every nuance of the testing procedure as well as the top four benefits the Speed-Guardian™ 5000 brings to Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue – performance & value, speed, low maintenance and aesthetics – and the Speed-Guardian™ 5000 was awarded the Firehouse Seal of Approval. The Lab Review was published in the May 2025 issue of Firehouse Magazine.
